Dr. Justin Hanlon
Dr. Hanlon is a Pittsburgh native who graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill. He went to college at Penn State University, and then pursued his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Though Dr. Hanlon loves all phases of dentistry, he is especially enthusiastic about implant dentistry and the supporting technologies such as Cone Beam CT scanning, digital impression scanning, digital printing, guided implant surgery and more. Dr. Hanlon has committed himself to pursuing and achieving excellence in full-mouth implant rehabilitation. He is constantly developing his knowledge and honing his skills through continuing education. Dr. Hanlon is a big proponent of technology in the dental field. Omni Dental invests in the latest technologies to provide state-of-the-art care with incredible efficiency- all while minimizing patients' pain and time spent in the dental chair. Dr. Hanlon is dedicated to his craft, and truly believes in the power of dentistry to radically transform the lives of his patients. Dr. Hanlon's favorite procedures include full-arch implant treatments (such as the all-on-4 or all-on-X), root canal therapy and full-mouth rehabilitations utilizing crown and bridgework.
After graduating from UPenn, Dr. Hanlon expanded his dental training through extensive continuing education, including earning certifications in implant placement, digital dentistry and Invisalign®. Dr. Hanlon is a member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the International Dental Implant Association, where he received his implant training after dental school.
When Dr. Hanlon isn’t improving the smiles (and lives!) of his patients, he likes to swap his scrubs for skis, hiking boots or a yoga mat. And, though Dr. Hanlon no longer plays hockey, he still loves watching sports, and enjoys rooting on the Penguins and Steelers. Dr. Hanlon lives in Squirrel Hill with his wife, Leigha, and their two rescue pups, Bodhi and Dez. Leigha and Justin enjoy seeing live music together, trying new restaurants and getting out west as often as possible to explore the Rockies. In 2025, Dr. Hanlon and Leigha welcomed their first child, a little boy named Julian.
